WELCOME TO THE INNER WORKINGS OF MY MIND.

READ THIS WHEN YOU HATE YOURSELF

welcome back. you were just here not that long ago, yeah? it’s easy to forget this dark place when you’re out of it, but I’ll always be here to remind you.

not sure if I’m a good or a bad voice yet, are you? most people feel that way at first. I might be here to help you, but I could be here to suck you in further.

everything is suspect.

when you’re in this place of hating yourself, you’re so sensitive to everything around you - painfully aware

of your anxiety.

of your depression.

your crippling insecurities,

the rejection in silence.

and your inability to positively affect the world.

breathe.

you’ve been here before.

think back to the last time,

and send yourself some love.

recall something that flipped your stomach in a good way between now and then.

a sunset

unexpected praise

the smell of an orange peel

the warmth of another body.

and whisper to yourself,

a sweet nothing.

(I admire your strength)

remind yourself that there’s more sexiness to come.

breathe.

you’ve made your way in and out of this self-loathing hell many a time.

checked in.

checked out.

stayed awhile.

just stopped in to say hi.

breathe.

hand over heart.

hand over stomach.

breathe.

you are flesh and bones and breath and blood.

breathe.

you are alive.

you might be filled with regret right now, but whatever.

somewhere inside that black little heart of yours is a reason to smile and a lil’ love to give.

somewhere.

something.

just a little.

but it’s enough.

breathe.

you’re not alone.

you’re only hiding.

breathe.

flesh - bones - breath - blood

human.

breathe.

it’s only you.

and you are free.

(I love you.)

new year new mistakes

sorry not sorry
